Hertford's Independent UK Rock/Country Artist Chris Sims returns to the Corn Exchange for a Christmas special this December. Chris's songs follow the themes of travel, love and adventure which follows a exciting genre fluid performance ranging from had hitting rock songs to soft country ballads. This year Chris and his band will play two sets of music. A full set of originals followed by a second set of covers featuring some of the best Hertford based artists to celebrate the final Friday night before Christmas. Chris Sims is a independent Hertford based singer/songwriter. He is also the guitar player for Cameron Sanderson. In 2019 Chris was personally selected by Australian Singer/Songwriter Jacob Lee to be open Lee's first London headline. Sims has shared the stage with the likes of Fatherson Jamie Lenman and more. In 2020 Chris made his BBC introducing debut with his song 'Raise It Up'. He later appeared on BBC Essex and other stations as well as having songs 'Day The Devil Died' and 'Won't Watch Over You' feature and songs of the week on The Big Sound Machine.
