The album title refers to April 26th 2024 when, for one whole day, Steve was on the front page of every newspaper and lead story on most TV channels around the world for being the first person to receive a revolutionary new mRNA cancer vaccine. The interviews still continue; recently Steve featured on a news story in Brazil watched by 120 million viewers where he discussed his treatment, meeting King Charles III and ended with an acoustic performance of Dog & Bone
The tracks include the previously released singles Long Long Road Ahead, Looks Like You & Feelin’ Fine as well as 6 brand new songs (inc new fan favourite Dog & Bone) and a special remix & remaster of the hauntingly personal ‘My Son’
Famous For A Day will be released on a Limited Edition Red Vinyl in march 2025 followed by an online release later in the year.
