Hertford Comedy Club - Marcus Brigstocke

Hertford Comedy Club returns to The Corn Exchange in December with a cracking Christmas Special, featuring the wonderful Marcus Brigstocke, Matt Bragg, Ian Smith & Jonny Pelham!

Marcus Brigstocke is the master of satirical comedy and has proved to be blisteringly funny over a wide range of topics. He has notched up an impressive list of TV credits including his role as team captain on Argumental, and host of The Late Edition and I’ve Never Seen Star Wars.

Other appearances include; Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week, QI and The 11 O’Clock Show, to name a few.

Matt Bragg has a unique, low energy, deadpan style, with meticulously crafted material and has been gaining critical acclaim from audiences, promoters and comedians alike. 

As well as performing at some of the largest clubs in the UK, he is tour support for Ricky Gervais, Harry Hill, Suzi Ruffell, Jason Manford and John Bishop.

Ian Smith is a multi-award winning comedian, actor and writer set to appear on the forthcoming series of Live at the Apollo.

He’s a regular on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, which he guest hosted this year, as well as his own Radio 4 stand-up series, Ian Smith is Stressed. He been seen on The Stand Up Sketch Show, Comedy Central Live and Sweat the Small Stuff.

Live at the Apollo star Jonny Pelham is one of the most exciting stand-up comedians on the circuit. 

Most recently Jonny has appeared on Rosie Jones’s Disability Comedy Extravaganza, as well as Live from the BBC, Mock The Week and Russell Howard’s stand-up Central.
